Description
Deutsch: Hutebaum am Westhang des Fürstensteins.

Der „Jestädter Weinberg“ ist ein Zechsteinrücken am rechten Werraufer im nordhessischen Werra-Meißner-Kreis, dessen sichtbare Dolomitfelsen landschaftsprägend sind. Bereits in 1924 wurden in einer ersten Schutzverordnung sämtliche Felspartien als Naturdenkmale ausgewiesen. Seit 1979 ist der Bereich ein Naturschutzgebiet.

Mit dem westlich angrenzendem Naturschutzgebiet „Werraaltarm und Werraaue bei Albungen“ bildet der Weinberg ein Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Gebiet im europäisch vernetzten Schutzgebietssystem Natura 2000 unter der Bezeichnung „Jestädter Weinberg / Werraaltarm und Werraaue bei Albungen“.
