Plusieurs navires de croisière et paquebots empruntent chaque jour le canal de la Giudecca à Venise (Photo Annie Dalbéra) Ces HLM des mers sont plus hauts que le campanile de la place Saint-Marc et choquent par leur gigantisme dans un lieu comme Venise aussi chargé d'histoire. Selon les Vénitiens eux-mêmes, le nombre de très gros navires a fortement augmenté ces dernières années, probablement pour des raisons de rentabilité du port de Venise et d'accroissement du nombre de touristes qu'ils génèrent durant un jour ou deux (la taxe de séjour a récemment été augmentée pour atteindre 4 euros par jour) |
