Summary[edit]

Description This is one of the most ornate historic buildings I've seen in the entire city, and it is located in Cincinnati's Lower Price Hill neighborhood on Neave Street. Dating to the late 19th Century, this Second Empire-style building has rich detailing, including an ornate cornice, window trim, and cast iron storefront columns from back when it had a retail space on the first floor, which has since been converted into additional residential space. Additionally, the mansard roof has two small diamond-shaped motifs in the slate roof on either side of the dormer, which is also richly detailed. This building is one of the many jewels of beautiful architecture that make up Lower Price Hill, an often overlooked and neglected neighborhood located west of Downtown.
