The watercourse shown here is the Nenana River. Located in central Alaska, it is a ~140 mile long, north-flowing tributary of the Tanana River. The Nenana River originates from the Nenana Glacier area of the Alaska Range.

Locality: Nenana River, south-southeast of the town of Healy, central Alaska, USA (view from railroad at ~63° 48' 31.96" North latitude, ~148° 56’ 57.95" West longitude)
