Description
English: Netley Abbey. The crossing and south transept. The doors to the sacristy, library and dormitory (half-way up the wall and once approached by a staircase) can be seen in the transept wall. The processional entrance to the cloister is visible on the right. King Henry's foundation stone is on the left hand pillar foundation furthest from the camera. Post-Dissolution this area was converted into the great chamber and Paulet's private apartments.
