Description
English: Neubrandenburg (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany): The very complex city gate "Friedländer Tor" and the gun tower "Zingel".
Deutsch: Neubrandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: Gesamtansicht des Friedländer Tores, Blick von Osten. Von links nach rechts erkennt man das Haupttor, das Vortor sowie den halbrunden Geschützturm "Zingel". Die beiden Tore stammen aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, der Geschützturm wurde um 1500 erbaut. Nördlich des "Zingels" (also ganz rechts im Bild) befand sich einst ein weiteres Vortor.
