Summary
[edit]DescriptionNeurological Levels & Types of Paralysis.png |
English: This image shows an example of affected areas to represent the differences between paraplegia (left), hemiplegia (middle), and quadriplegia (right). Please note these areas may differ for each condition and are dependent upon the neurological level of injury. Also consider that some sensory and motor function may remain in the affected areas. For example, partial motor preservation can occur with any of these conditions i.e. some finger function may be retained even in cases of quadriplegia where all four limbs are affected. |
