Description
English: View east of the newly completed Horden railway station seen on its opening day, 29/06/2020. The station is viewed from it's car park, with the footbridge providing the dominant feature. Beyond are the cliff tops and the North Sea. The new Horden station is on the Durham Coast Line and replaces an earlier station (approximately 180m further south) which existed between 1 April 1905 and 4 May 1964; it was closed as part of the Beeching cuts.
