Description

Staff Sergeant Robert Converse, a member of the New York National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing Security Forces Squadron fires the M240 machine gun during a training event at the Suffolk County Range in Westhampton Beach, NY on August 24, 2016.

Security Forces members regularly train on the use and upkeep of these weapons, in addition to the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon, M4 carbine and M9 pistol.
