Description
فارسی: قدمت بازار تاریخی نیشابور به حدود سال ۱۶۰۰ و عصر صفویان بر میگردد هرچند که تنها بخشی از بازاری بزرگ و قدیمی ست که از دروازه مشهد شروع و پس از طی پیچ و خم های محسوس به دروازه عراق منتهی میشده است. این بازار، به علت سرپوشیده و مسقّف بودن معبر و راهروی آن، در میان مردم نیشابور، به «بازار سرپوش» معروف است. هر چند دیگر رنگ و لعاب گذشته ها را ندارد اما هنوز میان مردم از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار است و هنوز میتوان درونش هنرهای اصیل و شاید فراموش شده را جستجو کرد. مشاغلی که شاید در آینده نه چندان دور در خاطرهای مردمان یافت شود.
