Summary[edit]

Description
English: An after-mission report says, in item 8, that U.S. planes were ordered to strafe an "unidentified object" one mile west of Hwanggan on July 27, 1950. The trestle at No Gun Ri, where a large number of South Korean refugees were killed by U.S. air and ground forces July 26-29, 1950, is 1 1/2 miles west-southwest of Hwanggan. Some survivors remember planes attacking them on July 27. The Pentagon's 2001 No Gun Ri investigative report did not disclose the existence of this and similar reports.
