Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In this excerpt from a July 25, 1950, memo, the operations chief for the U.S. Air Force in South Korea, Col. Turner C. Rogers, reports that U.S. warplanes are strafing South Korean refugees at the U.S. Army's request. The Army's 2001 report on its investigation of the No Gun Ri refugee killings omitted these paragraphs from its description of the memo.
