Description
English: Nongyao Watthanakomen, a Thai woman.
  • Birth: Nongyao was born on 2 April 2452 BE (1909 CE) as a daughter of a Thai nobleman, Phra Phakdiphuwadon (Yai Praphasathit), and his wife, Nang Phakdiphuwadon (Phlop Praphasathit).
  • Marriage: In 2485 BE (1942/43 CE), Nongyao married Manun Watthanakomen, by whom she had three sons: Manut Watthanakomen, Thanit Watthanakomen, and Witthawat Watthanakomen, respectively.
  • Career: Nongyao worked as an official at the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand, and as a journalist, a novelist using the pen names "No Praphasathit" and "Rot Sukhon", and a lecturer about China at military schools of the Thai military.
  • Death: Nongyao died on 26 February 2512 BE (1969 CE) at Chonlaprathan Hospital of Pak Kret (present-day Panyananthaphikkhu Chonprathan Medical Center, Srinakharinwirot University) due to lung cancer.
