Incorrect Description - this is not a "North American green snake" this is an Eastern green mamba - Dendroaspis angusticeps, an African elapid. Because this photo appears on the page titled, Ophreodrys (the genus of N. American green snakes), it is an incorrect image. The snake pictured is a highly venomous African species, and the page Ophreodrys is a genus of non-venomous N. American snakes. This highly venomous snake should not be confused with a N. american harmless one. The other photo on this page is a correct image of a N. American green snake (Ophreodrys). Please remove this photo from this page (it would be a satisfactory image on a Dendroaspis page)
