Animation of the trajectory of a photon arriving from infinity and almost captured by an extreme Kerr black hole (ā = 1)

Summary

[edit]
Description

English: With G gravitational constant, M mass of the black hole, c speed of light in vacuum, rs = 2GM/c² and m = GM/c², the trajectory constants are:

cLz/mE = -6 with Lz component of the photon's angular momentum on the black hole's axis of rotation and E photon energy,

c²Q/(m²E²) = -13 + 16 sqrt (2), with Q Carter constant.
