Nuthurst, West Sussex, England tinted photograph

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Nuthurst Street (aka Harriots Hill), in Nuthurst, West Sussex, England. This pre First World War postcard photograph looks northward along Nuthurst Street, with the today listed buildings of the Black Horse Inn at the right, and The Dell cottage (with Horsham Stone roof), and The Old Post Office on the left. The second cottage along has since been demolished for a later extension to The Dell. The gap between the buildings is a footpath to Sedgwick Park and House. The postcard photograph is from the first years of the 20th century, with no indication of photographer or publisher. The edges of the card have been trimmed of damage.
