Description
English: Photo from downtown Oppdal, Norway in April 2019:
  • Oppdal Tourist Hotel by the train platform. This building, designed by Gudmund Hoel (1877–1956) at NSB's architectural office, was commissioned by Norsk Spisevognselskap ('The Dining Car Company') and is clad in slate stone from Oppdal. It opened in 1924. The hotel has received additions, including some from the 1980s.
  • Oppdal Station (Norwegian: Oppdal stasjon) , a wooden building designed by NSB's architectural office under the leadership of Gudmund Hoel (1877–1956) as a railway station on the Dovre Line. The station is located at an elevation of 544 meters above sea level, and is under the ownership of Bane NOR (Norwegian Railway Infrastructure Company). Oppdal Station was constructed in 1917 and officially opened in 1921 when the Dombås-Trondheim railway section was completed. In 2014, the facades were renovated and restored to their original colors.
  • Train platform, surroundings, etc., with little snow and ice on the ground.

  • Oppdal stasjon, trebygning tegnet av NSBs arkitektkontor under ledelse av Gudmund Hoel (1877–1956) som jernbanestasjon på Dovrebanen. Stasjonen ligger på 544 m.o.h., har adresse O. Skasliens veg 8 og tilhører Bane NOR. Oppdal stasjon ble bygd i 1917 (under tak 1916) og åpnet i 1921 da banestrekningen Dombås-Trondheim sto ferdig. I 2014 ble fasadene renovert og tilbakeført til opprinnelige farger.
  • Monument (minnestøtte med relieff) over skifergründer Olaf Skaslien
  • Togperrong, rullestolrampe, omgivelser med mer, med lite snø og is på bakken.
