Description

Local residents, Ricky and Raymond Gonzalez, enjoy sledding and making a snowman at the popular Oak Hill Snow Play Area near the community of Parks on the Kaibab National Forest.

The Oak Hill Snow Play Area is located on the site of an old alpine ski area, which operated during the 1950s. There are two separate sledding runs for the enjoyment of children and adults alike! One of the runs is long and steep, while the other is shorter and easier for beginners. During winter weekends, families flock to the site to enjoy snow play opportunities and the beautiful scenery of majestic ponderosa pine trees covered in freshly fallen snow.
