Connecting Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg over the River Spree, Oberbaum bridge is one of the Most recognized Berlin landmarks.

The former boroughs of Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg were previously divided by the Berlin Wall and Oberbaum bridge was used as a pedestrian border crossing between East and West Berlin till it’s fall in 1989 and the consequent German reunification in 1991.

Die Oberbaumbrücke verbindet Friedrichshain und Kreuzberg über die Spree und ist eines der bekanntesten Wahrzeichen Berlins.
