English: Gold guilder minted at Oberwesel in 1370 under the reign of Werner III von Falkenstein, archbishop of Trier, displayed at the Municipal museum Oberwesel, Germany, inscription: WESAL MONETA NOVA - WESEL NEW MINT/coin); in the centre the coat of armes of Werner III as archbishop of Trier, top left his original coa, top right the coa of the Electorate of Mainz ("gules a six-spoked wheel argent")

Unter Werner III. von Falkenstein geprägter Goldgulden im Stadtmuseum; Aufschrift Avers: WESAL MONETA NOVA - Wesel neue Münzstätte (auch: Prägung, Münze); in der Mitte das Wappen von Werner III. als Erzbischof von Trier, oben links (heral. rechts) sein Familienwappen, oben rechts das Wappen von Kurmainz („In Rot ein silbernes sechsspeichiges Rad.“)
