| Description |
Nederlands: Vrijdag 21 april, 08.53 uur: er komt een Search & Rescue (SAR)-alarm binnen in het Kustwachtcentrum te Den Helder. De 3 watchofficers en de duty officer zijn direct alert. Het blijkt om een offshore-helikopter te gaan. De AW 139, die op dat moment terugkeert van een platform in de Noordzee, is van de radar verdwenen. Er is geen communicatie meer. “Hebben we een last known position?”, schalt het door de Kustwachtmeldkamer. Een spannend begin van een uitdagende multidisciplinaire rampenoefening die interessante geleerde lessen aantoont voor zowel Defensie als betrokken civiele partijen. |
