Summary

[edit]
Description
English: An old-fashioned railroad crossing signal in the yard of the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, Connecticut. What makes this old-fashioned is the black "STOP ON RED SIGNAL" sign with white lettering beneath the lights which hasn't been the MUTCD standard since 1971. The lights themselves appear to be replacements. Behind the crossbuck sign is a chain-link fence separating the railroad maintenance of way along the northern terminus of the Metro-North Danbury Branch. If there was ever a crossing from the yard that used this signal, it's not here now.
