Het zes meter hoge beeld werd in 2010 gemaakt door de Nieuwpoortse kunstenaar Ivan Peel. Het stelt kinderen voor op het strand spelend in de golven van de zee.

The six meter high statue was created in 2010 by Ivan Peel, an artist from Nieuwpoort. It represents children on the beach playing in de in rolling waves.
