Summary[edit]

Description
English: Feeding, life history, and de novo transcriptome assembly of Orciraptor agilis. Scanning electron micrograph of a perforation by O. agilis reveals the degradation of both main structural components of Mougeotia’s cell wall, gel-like biopolymers (potentially pectins; indicated by “gel”) and cellulose microfibrils (indicated by “fib”). Scale bars, 2 μm and 200 nm (inset).
