Oreochromis mossambicus Downfall Creek 7th Brigade Park Chermside

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Oreochromis mossambicus, the Mozambique cichlid or Mozambique tilapia, is an invasive species in Australian waterways. It tolerates the often poor water quality of urban waterways, and can even tolerate hypersaline conditions. It is less tolerant of flood events, with large proportions of the population being swept downstream.
