Description
English: Belvidere, Illinois Looking north at the original Baltic Mill structure built Circa 1845. In recent years a smaller addition was made onto the west side of the building. This smaller addition is not an original part of the mill.

Today the Baltic Mill is located inside the Belvidere Park, along the Mill Stream which branches off of the north branch of the Kishwaukee River in the city of Belvidere, Illinois. Originally this location was rural but as time moved on, the city of Belvidere grew around the area along the Kishwaukee River, which at some point was set aside as a park.
