Description
English: Orthopedics... wanting: a cartoon by Amarelhe, published on A Capital, satirising the resignation of the Portuguese coalition cabinet led by Prime Minister Augusto de Vasconcelos (a physician) in June 1912. Vasconcelos is dressed like a tube of all-purpose glue, and the subtitle reads: "Fixes bones, fixes guts, but... it cannot fix ministries."
Ab: Ortopedia... incompleta: um cartoon de Amarelhe, publicado n'A Capital, satirizando a demissão do governo de coligação ("de concentração") liderado pelo Presidente do Ministério Augusto de Vasconcelos (um médico), em Junho de 1912. Vasconcelos surge vestido de tubo de cola-tudo e lê-se na legenda: "Cola ossos, cola tripas, mas... não cola ministérios."
