| Description |
English: Typical CT-Images of a potenital osteoid osteoma with hypodense structure in the center region. The 74 year old patient underwent a F18-Choline PET/CT for staging of a known Prostate cancer. As this lesion was the only choline avid lesion, its not unlikely that this lesion is not a metastasis of the prostate cancer (PSA=200!) but instead associated to the osteoid osteoma.
Deutsch: Typische CT-Darstellung eines möglichen Osteoid-Osteoms mit hypodenser Struktur in der Mitte. Der 74 Jahre alte Patient wurde im Rahmen einer F-18-Cholin-PET/CT wegen seines bekannten Prostata-Karzinoms untersucht. Da die Läsion die einzige Cholin-avide Knochenläsion war, ist es nicht unwahrscheinlich, dass es sich hier nicht um eine Knochenmetastase des Prostata-Karzinoms handelt, sondern um ein Osteoid-Osteom. |
