На координатных осях расстояния в а. е., спроецированные на плоскость эклиптики, с нулем эклиптической долготы направленным направо, вдоль оси «x».

Положения точны на 1-е января 2000 года (эпоха J2000.0) с некоторыми условиями:

  • для планет положения точны;
  • для малых тел положения экстраполируются от других эпох, предполагая исключительно Кеплеровское движение. Так как все данные от эпох между 1993 и 2007, это должно быть разумным приближением.

Данные от Центра малых планет[1] или от Murray and Dermott[2] при необходимости.

В поясе Койпера радиальные «спицы» более высокой плотности или промежутки в отдельных направлениях являются результатом погрешностей наблюдений (т. е. того, где объекты изучались), а не какой-нибудь реальной материальной структуры.

Axes list distances in AU, projected onto the ecliptic, with ecliptic longitude zero being to the right, along the "x" axis).

Positions are accurate for January 1st, 2000 (J2000 epoch) with some caveats: For planets, positions should be exact. For minor bodies, positions are extrapolated from other epochs assuming purely Keplerian motion. As all data is from an epoch between 1993 and 2007, this should be a reasonable approximation.

Data from the Minor Planet Center[1] or Murray and Dermott[2] as needed.

In the Kuiper Belt, radial "Spokes" of higher density, or gaps in particular directions are due to observational bias (i.e. where objects were searched for), rather than any real physical structure.
