Description
Nederlands: "Het KNMI waarschuwt vandaag voor stormachtig weer… hoe toepasselijk." Het zijn de eerste woorden van de nieuwe Commandant der Strijdkrachten (CDS). Door het aftreden van generaal Tom Middendorp eerder deze week, verliep de ceremonie anders dan gepland. Desondanks aanvaardde luitenant-admiraal Bauer vanmorgen met veel genoegen het commando. Daarmee kreeg hij de leiding over de Nederlandse krijgsmacht.
