English: Kasinga, North Kivu, DR Congo – Following an increase in attacks against civilians in the northern and eastern parts of Beni territory, and in view of enhancing Protection of Civilians strategy, MONUSCO Beni Field Office organized an integrated visit with MONUSCO substantive sections to Kasinga Temporary Operating Base (TOB), located 11km E of Beni town. The visit involved Civil Affairs Unit, Joint Human Rights Office, Joint Mission Analysis Centre and Field Office Joint Operations Centre, and was led by the Head of Office to ensure improvements of protection of civilian’s strategy. Français : Kasinga, Nord-Kivu, RD Congo – A la suite d'une augmentation des attaques contre les civils dans les parties Nord et Est du territoire de Beni et dans le but de renforcer la stratégie de protection des civils, le bureau de la MONUSCO à Beni a organisé une visite intégrée avec des sections spécialisées de la MONUSCO, à la Base d'opération temporaire de Kasinga (TOB), située à 11 km à l'est de la ville de Beni. La visite a réuni la Section des Affaires civiles, le Bureau commun des droits de l'homme, le Centre d'analyse de mission commune et le Centre d'opérations conjoint du bureau extérieur.
