Description
English: 3929 shown new at Altoona, Jan 1925. She is equipped with pick-up shoes for tunnel operation. The successful DD1 was the spirit and thinking behind the L5 class, but they lacked one vital ingredient of their predecessors. The DD1's were, in a sense, articulated, giving them far superior tracking qualities.
