English: The first shot of Pennsylvania Railroad Test Weight Car Number 999951 at the Danbury Railway Museum in Danbury, Connecticut. This 1909-built 15 ton rolling slab of iron was used to calibrate scales that weighed freight cars, and was built by the railroad itself in Altoona, Pennsylvania. An old Metro-North ACMU can be seen in the background. |
