| Description |
English: Object PSM35 from the collections of the Medical History museum, Gothenburg. The thermometer in wooden casing with handle is a bath thermometer that was used for long baths at Lillhagen's hospital. The long bath was a treatment that was used to calm anxious patients at the psychiatric hospital and meant that the patients lay in thirty-seven to forty-degree water.
Svenska: Föremål PSM35 fån samlingar på Medicinhistoriska museet, Göteborg. Termometern i trähölje med handtag är en badtermometer som användes vid långbad på Lillhagens sjukhus. Långbaden var en behandling som användes för att lugna oroliga patienter och innebar att patienterna låg i trettiosju till förtiogradigt vatten. |
