Summary

[edit]
Description
English: PTFE guidewires are designed for catheter guidance in diagnostic angiography procedures of coronary and peripheral arteries. These guidewires have a stainless steel core and a metal coil that provide flexibility and durability. The metal coil is coated with PTFE using the pre-coating method, which is the best type of PTFE coating. This coating reduces the friction of the guidewire and prevents blood clotting on its surface.
