Description
Italiano: Padovanino - Pala delle Milizie - Duomo Palmanova
La pala, dalla classica impostazione piramidale, presenta al vertice San Bartolomeo, che alza il coltello, strumento del suo martirio e San Girolamo, che seduto accanto al leone dormiente guarda ispirato verso il cielo. Nella parte inferiore spicca la figura di guerriero di San Teodoro che porta il vessillo della vittoria, Santa Barbara, adagiata su un cannone, è ritratta in atteggiamento estatico e alle sua spalle San Michele. In basso quattro putti giocano tra le palle di bombarda.
