Italiano: Il logo “for/with Libia" rappresenta graficamente un mondo che vuole porsi dalla parte della Libia e nel farlo assume la posizione di chi non vuole discutere solo dei suoi problemi, ma ascoltarli per trovarne una soluzione.
Un delicato incrocio di linee dà vita a uno stilizzato emisfero raffigurato nell'atto di aprirsi a due importanti preposizioni: for e with, con e per la Libia, in linea con i valori di apertura e dialogo della Conferenza. La mezzaluna da un lato e la stella dall’altro rappresentano un'immagine dal duplice volto: lì dove c’è un mondo, la Libia ne è parte integrante. Non più, dunque, uno Stato centro di attenzioni internazionali e di fatto solo oggetto di discussione, bensì realtà partecipante. Elementi cromatici della bandiera italiana sono collocati sulla parte inferiore della mezza luna/emisfero a sottolineare il ruolo dell'Italia nell'ideazione e promozione dell’evento di Palermo. L’emisfero rappresentato nel logo, non è un emisfero qualunque. Diventa molto di più nell’atto stesso di stendersi a una parte di esso.English: The "for/with Libya" logo graphically represents a world that wants to side with Libya, taking the position of those who do not want to discuss their problems only, but listen to them to find a solution.
A delicate intersection of lines gives life to a stylized hemisphere depicted in the act of opening up to two important prepositions: for and with Libya, in line with the values of openness and dialogue of the Conference. The half-moon on one side and the star on the other represent an image with a double face: wherever there is a world, Libya is an integral part of it. It is therefore no longer a State under international attention and only an subject for discussion, but a participating reality. The chromatic elements of the Italian flag are placed on the lower part of the half-moon/hemisphere to underline the role of Italy in the conception and promotion of the event in Palermo. The hemisphere represented in the logo is not an ordinary hemisphere. sur ses problèmes, mais veut les écouter pour parvenir à les résoudre. Une intersection délicate de lignes donne naissance à un hémisphère stylisé représenté lors de son éclosion à deux importantes propositions: for et with, avec et pour la Libye, en ligne avec les valeurs d’ouverture et de dialogue de la Conférence. Le croissant de lune d’un côté et l’étoile de l’autre côté représentent une image au double aspect: là où il y a un monde, la Libye en est partie intégrante. Fini, donc, un Etat centre d’attentions internationales et en fait seulement objet de débats, mais une réalité participante. Eléments chromatiques du drapeau italien sont placés sur la partie inférieure du croissant de lune/hémisphère afin de souligner le rôle de l'Italie lors de la conception et la promotion de l’événement de Palerme. L’hémisphère représenté dans le logo, n’est pas u hémisphère quelconque.
