Description
Čeština: Palladium země české, Stará Boleslav, okr. Praha-východ, Středočeský kraj. Starobylý kovový reliéf Madony s dítětem (19 x 13,5 cm). Vznikl v době od konce 14. do poloviny 15. století. Je vytepán z tzv. korintské mědi a silně pozlacen. Podle legendy jej darovala svatá Ludmila svému vnukovi svatému Václavovi. Staroboleslavské palladium bylo v r. 2016 zařazeno do Seznamu národních kulturních památek.
English: Palladium of Czech land, Stará Boleslav, Prague-East District, Central Bohemian Region. Ancient metal relief of Madonna with a child, 19 x 13.5 cm. It originated at the time between the end of the 14th and the mid-15th century. It is sculpted from the so-called Corinthian copper and heavily gold-plated. According to the legend, Saint Ludmila donated it to her grandson St. Wenceslas. Palladium of Stará Boleslav was included in the List of Czech National Cultural Monuments in 2016.
