Čeština: Pamětní deska umístěná na vnější fasádě činžovního domu na adrese Lucemburská 1578/25, 130 00 Praha 3 - Žižkov (GPS souřadnice: 50.0792881N, 14.4559825E) připomíná manžele Marii Brunclíkovou a Emila Brunclíka, kteří v roce 1942 ukrývali britského podplukovníka Ronalda Boltona Littledalea (Ronald Bolton Littledale). Deska byla slavnostně odhalena v pondělí 23. října 2023 v 17.00 hodin za přítomnosti členů Iniciativy A (Karel Polata), Československé obce legionářské (ČsOL) a městské části Praha 3. Zbudování pamětní desky financovala městská část Praha 3. Na pamětní desce je nápis: V tomoto domě žili obětaví členové odboje, manželé // Marie a Emil / BRUNCLÍKOVI // Spolupracovali s redakcí ilegálního časopisu „V boj“, / podíleli se na ukrývání britského pplk. R. B. Littledalea. / Byli zavražděni 24.10.1942 v KT Mauthausen, / společně s podporovateli oprace ANTHROPOID.
English: The memorial plaque located on the outer facade of the tenement house at 1578/25 Lucemburská Street, 130 00 Praha 3 - Žižkov (GPS coordinates: 50.0792881N, 14.4559825E) commemorates the married couple Maria Brunclíková and Emil Brunclík, who in 1942 hid British Lieutenant Colonel Ronald Bolton Littledale. The plaque was unveiled on Monday 23 October 2023 at 5 p.m. in the presence of members of Initiative A (Karel Polata), the Czechoslovak Legionary Community (CSOL) and the Prague 3 municipality. The erection of the memorial plaque was financed by the Prague 3 municipality. The inscription on the memorial plaque says: In this house lived the dedicated members of the Resistance, husband and wife // Marie and Emil / BRUNCLIK // They cooperated with the editorial staff of the illegal magazine "V boj", / they participated in hiding the British Colonel R. B. Littledale. / They were murdered on 24.10.1942 in the Mauthausen concentration camp, / together with supporters of the ANTHROPOID opposition. |
