Čeština: Na domě na adrese Otakarova 219/9, 140 00 Praha 4 – Nusle byla odhalena pamětní deska věnovaná nuselskému tiskaři, litografovi a fotografovi Josefu Kafkovi (* 16. června 1895, Praha – 9. července 1943, Berlín-Plötzensee). Na desce je nápis: V této ulici žil a pracoval / hrdina odboje, litograf a fotograf / Josef Kafka / nar. 16. 6. 1895 / za ilegální činnost v Obraně národa / byl popraven / 9. 7. 1943 v Berlíně-Plötzensee //.
English: A memorial plaque dedicated to the lithographer and photographer Josef Kafka (* June 16, 1895, Prague - July 9, 1943, Berlin-Plötzensee) was unveiled in the outside wall of the house in Otakarova street 219/9, 140 00 Prague 4 - Nusle. On the plaque is the Czech inscription: In this street lived and worked / the hero of the resistance, lithographer and photographer / Josef Kafka / born 16. 6. 1895 / for illegal activity in the Defense of the Nation / he was executed / 9. 7. 1943 in Berlin-Plötzensee //. |
