Deutsch: bezeichnet 1874 und bezeichnet 1876 (Kaserne), Kasernengebäude auf wuchtige Substruktion mit Stützmauer und Geländer, dazu rückwärtiges Exerzierhaus, schmiedeeiserne Tor- und Zaunsanlage sowie Baumreihen und gärtnerische Außenanlagen; einst Infanteriekaserne für das 2. Grenadierregiment No. 101 Kaiser-Wilhelm I. König von Preußen, heute von der Landesdirektion Sachsen genutzt, Gliederung des gewaltigen Kasernenbaukörpers durch Mitteltrakt und Risalite, kräftiges Erdgeschoss, Akzentuierung der hervorgehobenen Bauteile, Gestaltung zeigt vor allem nachklassizistisches Formengut, nach Fertigstellung mit der spiegelgleich errichteten Leibgrenadierkaserne (siehe Stauffenbergallee 4) und der Hauptwache (siehe Stauffenbergallee 2a) eines der beeindruckendsten Ensemble der Albertstadt, baugeschichtlich und militärgeschichtlich sowie städtebaulich bedeutend
