Summary
[edit]DescriptionParis buns 25 April 2020 (5).JPG |
Paris buns, to an adjusted version of this recipe. These pictured buns were lightened by using a little less flour, adding the dried fruit before adding the liquid, and mixing in the liquid lightly with a knife. The sugar nibs were made by lightly crushing sugar lumps (they were originally made by lightly crushing part of a sugar loaf). The plate is Losol, made by Keeling of Burslem, England, in 1912–1936. |
