Español: La historia de la Parroquia de San Juan Evangelista y Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe data de año de 1675 en el cual hubo una epidemia de tifo que asoló al barrio de San Juan (ubicado en lo que hoy en día afluyen avenidas como Insurgentes, Extremadura, Patriotismo y Agusto Rodin), por lo que hubo necesidad de quemar los jacales de sus habitantes. Se dice que cuando cesó el fuego sólo quedó de pie un muro en el que estaba la imagen de la Guadalupana. Este milagro propició la construcción del Templo de San Juan Evangelista, bajo la advocación de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.
Su estilo es colonial y en sus interiores hay obras de gran valor como la pintura al óleo de la Virgen de Guadalupe y la escultura de San Juan Evangelista. Los techos están adornados con santos en relieve rodeados de grecas doradas hechas con madera e imponentes candelabros.
