Description
Deutsch: Der (gemeine) Pastinak (Pastinaca sativa) kam im Sommer 2021 auf Wangerooge sehr häufig vor, etwa auch an Wegrändern. Die Blätter schmecken angenehm würzig und werden unter anderem zum Verfeinern von Salaten verwendet. Die Pflanze hier wuchs seeseitig am Deich nahe dem Flugplatz. Im Hintergrund sieht man den Westhafen der Insel.

Auch auf dem nahegelegenten Festland war die Pflanze sehr häufig, so zum Beispiel auf dem Grünstreifen der Straße vom Hafen in Hooksiel bis zum JadeWeserPort.
