Description Patricia Rusch Hyatt, a former newspaper reporter and editor, writes about under-noticed American heroes. She also plays the violin, reveres trees and plants, reads a hundred (adult) books a year, and feeds her sketchbook travel diaries. In addition to “The Quite Contrary Man,” she is also the author of “Coast to Coast with Alice”, the story of the first woman to drive a motorcar across the United States, in 1909. She lives in Princeton with her husband Jim.
