Title
Tabakskollegium in the Red Chamber or Drap-d'or Chamber of the Berlin City Palace. King Frederick I is seated in the middle next to his third wife, Sophie Luise. On the left, in front of the orchestra, is Crown Prince Friedrich Wilhelm, who later made the Tabakskollegium into an institution. The company assembled here is served by court Moors and a turbaned Turk, who serve punch and extend tapers to pipe-lighting spills.
