Exposition Re-Set dans le pavillon national des Pays-Bas Inside Outside / Petra Blaisse Commissario: Netherlands Architecture Institute. Curatore: Ole Bouman. L'artiste Petra Blaisse n'a pas préparé une exposition sur l'architecture, avec maquettes, photos et dessins, destinée à être présentée au sein du pavillon comme c'est le cas partout ailleurs. Elle a voulu transformer le pavillon en lui-même et recréer ses espaces intérieurs de manière dynamique en faisant circuler toutes les 96 secondes des rideaux colorés. Les rails de guidage permettent aux rideaux de se trouver dans de nombreuses combinaisons, selon des obliques, des perpendiculaires ou des parallèles aux murs. Le passage d'un rideau devant l'autre produit des effets lumineux qui font miroiter l'atmosphère et change en quelques secondes la perception que les visiteurs peuvent avoir de l'intérieure du pavillon. Selon les positions des rideaux, des effets sonores se produisent rythmant les déplacements. C'est un pari réussi qui se révèle d'une grande originalité et qui rend sensible le discours abstrait sur la création architecturale avec une économie remarquable de moyens. Site du pavillon des Pays-Bas www.insideoutside.nl www.nai.nl __________ Le pavillon des Pays-bas a été dessiné en 1953 par le grand architecte Gerrit Thomas Rietveld. Le bâtiment est conçu dans le style néo-plastique inspiré du mouvement De Stilj, dont le peintre Piet Mondrian a été l'artiste le plus important. Ce mouvement artistique a fortement influencé l'architecture du XXe siècle, en particulier le Bauhaus. Composé de plusieurs volumes et très ouvert sur l'extérieur, ce pavillon très lumineux est un des pavillons nationaux les plus réussis. |
