Description

The Peace Bridge is a unique structure being built across Calgary's Bow River, connecting the communities of Hillhurst-Sunnyside and Eau Claire.

The 130m-long bridge will accommodate the increasing number of people commuting to and from work and those who simply want to enjoy Calgary's pathways.

It was designed by award-winning architect and bridge designer, Santiago Calatrava. Openned 2012.
