English: Léon Germain Pelouse (1838-1891), A landscape under darkening skies, thought to be Rochefort-en-Terre, Brittany; undated, signed 'LG Pelouse' (LG in ligature, lower right); oil on canvas; 18 1/2 x 25 3/4 inches, private collection. Exhibited San Francisco, California, San Francisco Museum of Art (now SF Museum of Modern Art), according to a label on the stretcher. Auctioned at Bonhams, San Francisco, lot 3035, 25 January 2015.
