Summary[edit]
DescriptionPeninsula State Park, Door County WI.jpg |
English: Dolomite caves along shore of Green Bay in Lake Michigan, are part of the ancient Niagara Escarpment, the same geological feature over which Niagara Falls flows far away in New York State. Peninsula State Park is one of oldest and largest in Wisconsin, established in 1910. It was home to Potowatomi Indians for centuries and contains Civilian Conservation Corps structures from 1930's. This scenic park is in the heart of historic Door County.
